EXPLOSIVE POWER OF GOD THROUGH THE HOLY GHOST.

SERIES: THROUGH THE BOOK OF EPHESIANS.

TEXT: EPHESIANS 3:1-21.

Ephesus is the only place where Apostle Paul spent 3 years continually, teaching and preaching the gospel of grace. The old gospel that was known was the gospel of the law. Jesus Christ talked about the old wine, old wineskins, the new wine and new wineskins-Mark 2:22.

The gospel of salvation by grace was a new teaching at the apostles that had never been taught before.

In the Old Testament God had covenant with the house of Israel only. The gentiles were called dogs. This gospel was taught over many centuries. The turning point to a new gospel to base salvation on grace only and a new covenant that includes the dogs (gentiles) and makes them equal to the Jews would be greatly resisted.

This gospel of grace was given to Paul not by any teaching/preacher but through divine instruction-Ephesians 3:3. After Apostle Paul got converted he didn’t go to Israel/Jerusalem immediately. He travelled to Arabia where he spent 3 years before starting to preach. He was called to heaven also and through divine instruction he was taught this new gospel of salvation by grace and salvation that includes gentiles too-Ephesians 3:6.

THAT THEY BE FILLED WITH THE FULLNESS OF GOD-Vs. 19

It is possible to get into something and you don’t get 100% of its benefits depending on how committed to it you are.
There are many who get into salvation half-heartedly and they don’t reap all the benefits of godliness.
God walks with you up to the far you want to go, as in Ezekiel 47:3-5.
Ezekiel 47:3, going only a thousand cubits (500 meters), Ezekiel got into water only up to his ankle.
Ezekiel 47:4-going to a total of two thousand cubits (1,000 meters) he went deeper into water up to his waist.
Ezekiel 47:5-Ezekiel was willing to go deeper. Going a further one thousand cubits (total of 1.5 km) he got submerged into water.

These are different levels of walking with God, depending on how far one wants to go, with God.

The third level above is desired by very few of those born again.
Many do not want to lose things and values of the world, they hold to them and they are not free to dive into the “deep water” and be “lost” in God.
The third level is where one is filled with the entire fullness of God, it is where you realize the life of abundance in God.
It is the level of doing exploits in your life-Daniel 11:32, the level of living in the supernatural realm.

THROUGH THE HOLY GHOST, GOD DOES MORE THAN WE CAN IMAGINE-Vs. 20.

We serve a God of abundance. Our God is the greatest.
Great people don’t do petty things.
The ways of God are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are God’s ways higher than our ways and his thoughts than our thoughts-Isaiah 55:9-12.
We have the seed of greatness in us.
Once you realize this great mystery, smallness, pettiness and mediocrity must leave your life. You will start to walk, live and conquer like a king.
To win the excellent and the noble you must discard the petty, the mediocre life.
God works greatness in us through the Holy Spirit, God’s deposit in us.

CONCLUSION

Understanding how wide, how long, how high and how deep God’s love is, you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God-Ephesians 3:18.
This life is yours today.
