GOD MAKES A WAY WHERE THERE SEEMS TO BE NO WAY.

SERIES: DIVINE INTERVENTIONS.

TEXT: ISAIAH 43:16-19

 

In the journey of life, we often face obstacles that seem insurmountable. However, God has the power to create pathways where there appear to be none. Today let us explore how God makes a way in difficult situations, encouraging us to trust in His divine intervention. Let us notice:-

UNDERSTANDING GOD’S WAY MAKING ABILITY.

  1. God is our deliverer.
  • God has a great history of delivering His people from impossible situations-(Exodus 14:13-14).
  1. His plans are Greater than our plans.
  • God’s plans for our lives often exceed our understanding and He is away at work behind the scenes-(Jeremiah 29:11).
  1. Trusting His timing.
  • We must learn to wait on the Lord, for His timing is perfect-(Isaiah 40:31)
  1. Faith in the unseen.
  • The essence of Christian worship is that we worship God who is invisible.
  • Walking by Faith means trusting that God, He is making a way even when we cannot see it-(2nd 5-7).
  • God made a way through the sea when ii seemed impossible-(Exodus 14:21-22).

RECOGNIZING GOD’S INTERVENTION.

  1. Signs of Divine guidance.
  • Our God is God of signs, wonders and miracles.
  • God’s ways are revealed through signs and circumstances in our lives-(Psalms 32:8)
  1. The role of a Prayer.
  • Seeking God in prayer helps us to align with His will and recognize His direction-(Phil. 4:6-7).
  1. Divine connections.
  • God often places people in our lives to help us find the way forward-(Prov. 27:17).
  • Listening to God’s guidance is crucial in understanding how He makes a way-(Isaiah 30:21).
  • The Samaritan woman at the well in Sycar. She encountered Jesus Christ. This is a case of how God can redirect lives toward purpose-(John 4:28-30)

THE PROCESS OF GOD MAKING A WAY.

  1. God breaks barriers and limitations
  • God is able to remove obstacles that hinder our progress-(Isaiah 45:2)
  1. God transforms our circumstances.
  • He turns our trials into testimonies of His faithfulness-(Romans 8:28).
  1. God creates new paths.
  • He makes ways in the wilderness, He creates new opportunities in our lives-(Isaiah 43:19).
  • He leads through challenges and difficult situations to build our faith and reliance on Him-(Psalm 23:4).
  • God led David from shepherd to King, showing how He can elevate us in unexpected ways-(1st Samuel 16:11-13).

THE POWER OF TESTIMONY.

  1. Sharing our stories.
  • Testimonies of God’s provision can encourage others to trust Him-(Rev. 12:11).
  1. Strengthening Faith.
  • Hearing how God has made a way for others builds our faith-(Rom. 10:17).
  1. Celebrating God’s Goodness.
  • We must take time to celebrate and acknowledge God’s work in our lives-(Psalm 105:1).
  • Encourage others through testimonies of what God has done in our lives-(2nd 1:4).
  • The Blind man who was healed by Jesus Christ encouraged others of the goodness and faithfulness of God-(John 9:25).

DECLARING GOD’S PROMISES.

  1. Speak life.
  • We must declare God’s promises over our situations-(Prov. 18:21).
  1. Pray with faith.
  • Our prayers should reflect confidence in God’s ability to make a way-(Matt. 21:22).
  1. Proclaim victory while living in expectation.
  • Declare victory in your circumstances, knowing that God is at work-(1st John 5:4).
  • Expecting God to act encourages us to watch for His hand in our lives-(Heb. 11:1)
  • The children of Israel declared God’s victory before the walls fell-(Joshua 6:16)

CONCLUSION

  • As we trust in God’s ability to make a way, let us remember that He is always working for our good.
  • No matter the obstacles we face God is able to create a path where none exists.

Let us pray:

  • Lord, thank you for being a way maker in my life.
  • Lord, help me to trust in your plans for me.
  • I declare that every obstacle before me is being removed.
  • Lord, guide me as I seek your will in my decisions, May I recognize the signs of your intervention in my life.
  • Lord, strengthen my faith to wait on your timing.
  • Lord, I declare that new opportunities are opening for me.
  • Help me to share my testimony to encourage others.
  • Lord, may I always celebrate your goodness in my life. I trust that you are making a way where there seems to be no way for me.
  • I know the Lord, will make a way for me.
