THE MILLENIAL KINGDOM, NEW HEAVEN AND EARTH

SERIES: THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST

TEXT: REVELATION 20:6

 

After the great tribulation Jesus Christ will return to earth will all the saints who were resurrected and others who were raptured alive.

There is a prayer that has been prayed a million times,  “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Jesus taught us to pray this Lord’s prayer. This is surely going to be fulfilled on earth, in a kingdom here on earth for 1000 years where Jesus Christ will be physically ruling the world along with the believers. The redeemed out of every tribe, tongue, people and nations will be ruling with Christ. Revelation 20:6 says, “He made us kings and priests to our God and we shall reign on earth.” It will be a literal kingdom on planet earth not a spiritual one as it is now.

 From the time of Adam and Eve until now, it has been about 6,000 years.  Countless human governments have ruled this world but human governments have had countless problems unable to solve the problems of man. The PERFECT GOVERNMENT is coming that will be ruled by Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and which will create paradise on earth, like in the Garden of Eden. 

More about the millennial kingdom:-

JESUS CHRIST WILL REIGN FROM JERUSALEM, ISRAEL.

• Isaiah 2:2-4- Jesus will be ruling from Jerusalem, Zion.
• In Jesus’ kingdom there will be perfect peace on the earth, no single war as the Prince of peace is ruling.
• Zechariah 8:3- Jerusalem will be the capital city of the world.
• Daniel 2:44- This kingdom will be the final kingdom on earth.

THE NATURE OF THE KINGDOM. 

• Satan’s influence on earth will be removed. Satan and all demons will be locked up in prison in the abyss for a thousand years- Rev. 20:1-3.
• The curse of human race will be lifted, even lives of men will be prolonged- Isa. 65:20. The whole creation is in bondage today, it is longing to be set free.
• Ordinary people who are ruled and were unbelievers will continue having children but not the raptured Church.

JUDGEMENT RESURRECTION OF SINNERS.

• At the end of the millennium, Satan will be loose for a little while. Those who did not love Jesus for real will be deceived and rebel against him.
• The sinners who died in sin will be then resurrected.
• Before the white throne of judgment all unbelievers will be judged and cast into the lake of fire with Satan.

THE NEW HEAVEN AND EARTH.

• The present earth will be consumed by fire for it is defiled by sin.
• A new heaven and a new earth prepared by God will come.
• Heaven, the new Jerusalem will come- Rev. 21:21.

CONCLUSION.

• Are you ready to stand before the Lord? Wash your garments of righteousness to be found worthy to stand before Him.
