BREAKING SATANIC CHAINS THROUGH THE ANOINTING

TEXT: ISAIAH 61:1-2

Jesus Christ was given the anointing of the Holy Spirit without measure and He has the capacity to break every satanic bondage, yoke, covenant and chain.

This same anointing is working with us today to set the captives free and enjoy the blessing of God to the fullest.

God is the mighty deliverer, His business is to destroy the walls of the devil and breaking both spiritual and physical chains.

He delivered Paul and Silas from prison, He broke the chains of every prisoner in that prison- Acts 16:25-28.

He restores that which the devil has killed, stolen and destroyed- Acts 10:38; John 10:10. Let us learn:-

THE DESCRIPTION OF SATANIC CHAINS

1. Physically, chains are metal ropes or codes that are used to bind a person or a thing- Judges 15:13-14.

• In the same way chains exist in the spirit realms.

2. Chains are weapons of darkness, wickedness and destruction used to bind people in darkness in satanic kingdom- Isaiah 54:17.
3. Chains are weapons of Satan, used to tie a person to his kingdom and to himself so that the person cannot fulfil the purpose of God in life.
4. Chains are instruments of oppression used to keep people in continuous affliction and bondages.
5. They are instruments of limitations used to bind a person spiritually to prevent progress in one area or the other to his life- Mark 5:4; Judges 16:21.

• Satanic chains are used by the enemy to do a lot of evil including;-

To detain a person against their will.

• When you are detained against your will.
• Your expected progress and promotion in life cannot manifest.
• When you are tied down you cannot be at the right place at the right time.
• You will not be able to secure a job, a marriage partner, a helper of your destiny, a good business or any good thing in life.

To keep a person stagnant.

• They are used to limit you so you do not reach the height God has ordained you to.
• This makes people to be putting great efforts in one area or other in life without achieving a commensurate result.

To keep people in afflictions.

• There are several afflictions that comes through satanic chains. They can be infirmities, disabilities or demon oppressions.

To bind people in obscurity.

• The enemy can recognize people of great glory and bind them with chains to prevent the manifestation of their glory.

They are used to enforce satanic embargo in a person’s life.

• There are people who have satanic embargo on their lives. Chains are used to enforce embargos.

THE DRIVERS OF SATANIC CHAINS

• There are certain factors that led people to and keep them in satanic chains in their lives including:-

1. Curses

• A curse can be pronounced by people with authority or by people with the powers of darkness upon an unprotected person.

2. Unbroken covenants.

• People may be operating under satanic covenants which they entered into personally or which someone entered into on their behalf.
• Covenants can be entered into either consciously or unconsciously.
• When someone is under a covenant, the life of a person is bound by the terms of the covenant, whether known or not.

3. Enchantments and divination.

• People operate under chains due to consultations of sorcerers, psychics, false prophets, witchdoctors, occult mediums and other satanic intermediaries either by themselves or on their behalves or consultations by others against them.

4. Building on a faulty foundation.

• You have to deal with the foundation of every phase and activities in your life.
• Every begging that has something against the word of God or has a link with the powers of darkness is a faulty foundation.

5. Evil summons.

• People are summoned to evil gatherings and evil judgements and pronouncements are made against them, sicknesses and insanity may also be put on them.
• These affairs happens by using satanic control on one’s spirit either in a real life or in a dream.

6. Satanic attacks in dreams.

• A person may suffer an attack in his/her dream that can bring him under the chains of the devil.
• Such an attack include forceful initiation in a dream, eating demonic foods in a dream or engaging in demonic sexual relationship in a dream.
• This causes a lot of problems to people’s lives, a lot of evil things are programmed into people’s lives through attack in the dream.

THE DELIVERANCE FROM SATANIC CHAINS

• The anointing of the Holy Spirit has the capacity to destroy every satanic chain and bondage and to set the captives free irrespective of the nature or duration of the bondage- Isaiah 10:27.
• To enjoy the liberty of the Holy Spirit, there are certain expectations from the lives of the people believing to be set free.

1. New life in Christ.

• When you surrender to Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal savior, you will become a child of God that is entitled to all the blessings in the kingdom including deliverance from satanic chains.

2. Keep a pure heart and clean hands.

• Confess and repent from all known sins both your personal sins and those of your ancestors.
• Our ancestors are the ladders keeping evil chains in place- Psalm 107:17.

3. Be filled with the Holy Spirit.

• You need the baptism and filling of the Holy Spirit.
• You need to constantly, moment by moment to ask God for a new filling of the Holy Spirit.

4. Live a life of obedience and total submission to God.

• Keep God on the throne of your life- James 4:7.

5. Engage in spiritual warfare.

• Continually challenge and resist the devil in the power of the Holy Spirit.
• Use your spiritual weapons including prayer, fasting, overthrow all the plans of darkness- 2^nd10:4.

CONCLUSION

• It is the will of God for everyone that will call upon Him through Christ to experience deliverance and liberty from satanic bondages and chains.
• We must surrender to our master Jesus Christ daily and all times.
• Cover yourself and yours under the blood of Jesus Christ, your life, your family, work, journey, farm, food and water, your home- Rev. 12:11. Testify of the victories He gives you.
