HIGHER GROUND

TEXT: PSALM 18:33, HABAKKUK 3:19

In this New Year 2020. It is the will of God for you and me to operate on higher grounds. God makes our feet like those of a deer. When God makes your feet like those of a deer, it is a divine physical and spiritual empowerment for a total take over. In this season of life, God has decided to make us fit and able for the year’s victory and testimonies. Without hinds, feet will not have higher grounds. The higher ground is a position of advantage, superiority and dominion. The higher ground is never a crowded place, it is a place of separation from mediocrity and worldliness. Following are ways to reach higher grounds:-

I. WALKING IN THE LIGHT (I JOHN 1:7)

• Light gives us superior knowledge, empowers and distinguishes us.
• This light is Jesus Christ, He is the true light and Satan cannot comprehend the light. (John 1:4 – 5)
• In Him was life and that life was the light of all mankind.
• Light kills darkness, Moses walked and received this light, his face emitted powerful light that Israelites could not behold his face. (Ex. 34:29-33)
• The apostle Paul encountered the light, he surrendered to the Light (Acts 9)
• Stephen beheld the Light, when he said, “Father forgive them.” (Acts 7)
• This is the Light that shines on the paths of the righteous (Pro 4:18)

II. HAVE AUTHORITY AND EXERCISE DOMINION (PSALM 18:37– 38)

• “I pursued my enemies and overtook them. I did not turn back till they were destroyed. I crushed them so that they could not rise, they fell beneath my feet”
• “You armed me with strength for battle, you humbled my adversaries before me.” (Psalm 18:39)
• One of the best gifts of God to us, who are born again (B.A) is the authority over all created things, physical and spiritual.
• We are licensed by God to reign and subdue the earth.
• No earthly battle or circumstance has the ability to overcome us, we are above all things after God.
• The greatest one, the God of the universe lives in us and has given us dominion (I John 4:4)
• We are kings, enthroned by the most high God, Elohim, El-Shaddai, Kings don’t beg.
• We are repositioned for total take over, we pursue and recover all.
• The kingdom of darkness is aware and recognizes our spiritual authority over them, this is the reason for casting out and loosing devils.

III. COMMAND POSSIBILITIES (MARK 9:23)

• “If you can,” said Jesus “Everything is possible for one who believes”
• The language of possibilities is the word of God.
• The word of God spoken through faith is most powerful, more powerful than incantations of witches.
• The man of the word is the man of possibilities.
• It is the will of God that you prosper both physically and spiritually. Only walk in the light, exercise dominion and command possibility, you will remain to be a wonder to this world and the kingdom of darkness.

CONCLUSION

• If you are willing and ready, God will plant your feet on higher ground.
• You will live above the world, you will never be under but above, you will never be the tail but the head to the glory of your Father above.
• This is the year of victory for you and me, we must walk in the light, exercise dominion and command possibilities in 2020.
