HOW TO BE DELIVERED FROM DESTRUCTIVE LOCATION

TEXT: JEREMIAH 51:1, PSALM 1:1-6 PSALM 91

INTRODUCTION

This is a message for those who sense that they are located in terrible place and need relocation from where the enemy has pushed them. Each one of us is in a location spiritually. Your location will determine your possession .99% of success is based on correct location and the main cause of failure too is as a result of the wrong location. Talent, intelligence and education cannot move you forward, there other things like location that matters a lot. You can be talented but be a great fool.

Let us learn:-

I.   EXAMPLES OF WRONG LOCATION IN THE BIBLE

1. Adam(Gen.3:8-10)

• The problem of Adam was location. God could not find Adam at the rightful position.
• “Adam, Adam where are you? Where is your location?”
• Spiritually, Adam had shifted location.
• It is possible for a person to be in a location of wastage.
• You can locate yourself in a position of the destroyers and be wasted away. (Jer.51:1)
• When the wicked are destroyed, the righteous also die because of the location.
• When Babylon is destroyed, those who dwell there and are righteous also die. Samson died with the Philistines!

2. Jonathan: (1Sam 31:1-2)

• Jonathan entered into a covenant with David
• Jonathan knew that David was God’s anointed, so he made an everlasting covenant with him be his everlasting friend, yet Jonathan died fighting on the side of his God rejected father, location killed Jonathan.
• Today destructive winds are blowing everywhere, they will not spare those who have changed location. (Psalm 91)
• The shadow of the Almighty in the right place to be( Psalm 91).
• Anyone who is not in the rightful position will be a victim of destruction that takes place soon.
• When the Angel of destruction went over Egypt, if a Hebrew was not under the blood, he/she died without mercy (Ex.12)
• Locate yourself, even in the church many get destroyed.
• Many are familiar with prayer, pastor and the things of God—what you are familiar with cannot bless your life( parents, brothers, churches)

II.   THOSE WRONGLY LOCATED.

1. “The almost there”—They are familiar with the things of God, but not saved.
2. Those in the dark regions: They are inside the house of God, but they refuse to be delivered from evil spirits.
3. Those who sit at the back. In the house of God there those who prefer to sit at the back, whether they come early or late. They don’t want to be involved and make friends
4. Those who sit in the verandah or stay outside.
5. Church nannies- They come to church to play with the children, they play with other peoples children when the service is going on.
6. Perpetual latecomers and leave early.

• They wake up when the praise and worship is over.
• They really keep their appointments with friends and business, they are on their phones most of the time.

7. Strange pastors associate. They are close to pastors but they are not born again. They are close to the truth but far from God.

• They carry pastors Bible and briefcase but they have no briefcase of the Holy Spirit.
• They are like closed bottles floating in the ocean, they don’t allow any water to enter them.

8. Troublemakers. They come into the house of God to bring trouble.

• Once your location is wrong, and the Almighty cannot find you will be wasted.
• If Peter did not fish the day Jesus met him, he would not have become a disciple
• if the disciples refused to go to the upper room, the Holy Spirit would have missed them.
• If Jonah succeeded in getting to Tarshish, the blessing would have missed in Nineveh.
• Don’t let the enemy translocate you and waste you.
• Where are you in your spiritual life today?

CONCLUSION

PRAYER

1. Anointing of bad location upon my life die in Jesus Name.
2. Power to be in the right place at the right time come upon me now in the Name of Jesus Christ.
3. My God deliver me from wastage in the Name of Jesus
4. My God, If I am wrongly located, relocate me by fire in the name of Jesus Christ.
5. Hunters of my soul –die in the name of Jesus Christ.
6. Power of God, baptize me in the name if Jesus.
