LIBERTY THROUGH THE ANOINTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

TEXT:  ISAIAH 10:27

INTRODUCTION

We need the anointing of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We do not have to face the trials of life alone. When you have the Holy Spirit in the inside, you can stand any kind of battle on the outside. God gave this message to the children of Israel concerning their enemies, the Assyrians. Through God’s anointing the Assyrians yoke was to be broken. This promise is yours by faith if you will only accept it. The anointing of the Holy Spirit helps us to do the commission of Jesus Christ to reach out to the entire world (Luke 4:18-19, Isaiah 58:6).

• The anointing of the Holy Spirit destroys the works of the Devil (John 10:10, I John 3:8)
• There are people who ought to have moved higher in life than where they are currently.
• Many have been tied down to one location by one sort of bondage or the other.
• The anointing is very powerful and we need to take advantage of the anointing to destroy every yoke and bondage of Satan.
• The anointing is a destroyer of yokes, the anointing is a destroyer of bondages.
• Jesus Christ did His work through the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

I.  THE DESCRIPTION OF SATANIC YOKES AND BONDAGES

• The Kingdom of Darkness is described in the Bible as principalities, powers, Rulers of darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12)
• They Specialize in doing wickedness to people without mercy.
• There are people that are victims of satanic oppression, yokes and bondages.
• This is manifest in Arrested progress and absence of breakthroughs in many areas of life.

1. Satanic yokes and bondages are instruments of oppression and affliction used to limit a person’s growth, promotion, fulfillment and breakthrough (I Cor.16:9)
2. Satanic yokes and bondages are devices of torment, suffering in the lives of people (Exodus 3:7-8)
3. Satanic yokes and bondages are devices used to monitor, capture and destroy the glory of people, thereby keeping them in obscurity.
4. Satanic yokes and bondages are instruments of injecting trouble into people’s comfort, and sorrow into their blessings so that there will be no fullness of Joy. (Gen.39:1-9)
5. Satanic yokes and bondages are instruments used to manipulate people’s divine destinies and temper with divine arrangement in people’s lives (I sam.13:11-14)
6. Satanic Yokes and bondages are instruments of crumbling or devouring people’s health/ wealth and reputation built over the years.
7. Satanic yokes and bondages are devices for attacking people’s harvest, making them labor in vain without reaping their good harvest (Judges 6:3-6)

II. THE DIVISION OF SATANIC YOKES AND BONDAGES.

• Satanic yokes and bondages can be divided into different categories based on the Kingdom of darkness.
• Satan has three principal mission : to steal, to kill and to destroy. (John 10:10) ,there are also sub-divisions.

1. Evaluating Mission

• When the enemy just wants to shake you to evaluate your faith.
• They make you to pass through several difficulties such as trials, delays, failures, disappointments and losses, just for you to remove your faith (Job 2:9-10)
• Sometimes the enemy brings great temptations at the verge of your victory and breakthrough (gen.39:7-12)

2. Blindfolding Mission.

• When the enemy does everything possible to prevent a man from hearing the gospel (2 Cor.4:3-4)

3. Ridiculing Mission.

• When the enemy is out to reproach and shame through failure, disappointments, delays or sudden attacks (2 Chro.20:12)

4. Frustrating Mission.

• The enemy is a frustrator (2 Kings 4:17-21)

5. Obstructing Mission.

• When the enemy is set to disturb your peace and frustrate you. When the enemy resists your blessings and breakthroughs, they oppose your vision and dreams (Gen.37:18-201)

6. Avenging Mission and Killing Mission.

(I Kings 13:4-22, John 11:1-4)

III. DESTRUCTION OF SATANIC YOKES AND BONDAGES

• Draw nigh to God, seek Him with all your heart.
• There is a yoke-Breaking anointing, God tells us “I will make a way where there is no way”
• Man’s word is not final because man is mortal.
• The first step is experiencing liberty by the anointing of the Holy Spirit which is to totally surrender your life to Christ (John 1:11-22)
• Release yourself to the Holy Spirit and His anointing.
• Receive your liberty by faith and confess your freedom at all times as a child of God.

CONCLUSION.

• Continue to live in obedience to the word of God.
• Walk in His righteousness at all times.
• Remain in Liberty and dominion
