MONEY IN THE LAST DAYS

SERIES: PROSPERITY

TEXT: PROVERBS 13:22

Money has always been important to God-plan for each generation and this especially true in the last days. “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous-Proverbs 13:22.

The world economy historically, experiences cycles of ups and downs. We are living in the last days and that means that the economies of the world are going to experience a continuous down cycle and will never bounce back. The Bible teaches that the economies of the world will, continue to go from bad to worse. Prophetically, that is what we can expect to happen in the last days-Daniel 2:26-45.

We are warned that money will fail and that there will be widespread hunger, political chaos, and rampant inflation. These conditions are inevitable because they will usher in the antichrist who will rise to power and be welcomed as the Savior of the world.

Before the antichrist comes, God is going to send His people out to influence every nation and preach the gospel to everyone.

Each and every one on earth will have the opportunity to accept or reject Jesus Christ before He returns to earth.

• This kind of influence will take huge amounts of resources and money.
• God’s plan is to transfer huge amounts of money and wealth into hands of His end-time evangelists.
• The need for the coming harvest are such that functionally they can be expected to manifest more strongly in the community and economic arenas.
• The church is going to operate with greater unity and singleness of purpose.
• Ministries will make the biggest impact in the last days and they will touch entire communities and nations.
• We are living in the last days and perilous times are upon us already.
• In order to survive supernaturally in the harsh times that are coming upon the earth, we need to take responsibility and get to our positions as priest and exercise the mandate which God has given us.
• We are warned not to seek material things.
• By exercising your priestly duties, blessings will be manifest in your life.
• God has reserved the wealth of the sinner for His harvest.
• Money has a mission and it is crying out to be in the hands of the righteous and not the wicked.
• The end time transfer of wealth into the body of Christ has already started.
• In these last days God is going to raise up people of power who will operate in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit.
• The last generation of people is going to be the greatest generation that has ever lived.
• God wants His anointed men and women to have a spirit of faith and power-Eccl. 3:1.
• The last anointing of the Holy Spirit is going to be the greatest since Pentecost.
• Let us prepare for a great transfer of wealth!!-Luke 21:32.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ANOINTING THAT GOD IS POURING

• As God prepares us for wealth transfer, the following signs will follow:-

1. The anointing through unity- Psalm 133:1-3.

• There is an anointing that is going to unite the church which will cause wealth to drip into the church like dew.
• The church through spirit of unity will be formed into a great formidable army that will be unstoppable in the coming days.
• It is going to be a church that will love the Bridegroom and will gather for no other reason than it’s genuine love for Jesus Christ.

2. The anointing to subdue nations- Psalm 47:3.

• The anointing in the last days is the anointing that will have power to subdue nations.
• God has called us to subdue individuals or cities and also subdue whole nations.
• Abraham walked in this anointing and subdued powerful kings.
• Nations recognized the power of God in his life and allowed him access to all their wealth.
• God is going to give us the nations and we are going to subdue them and they are going to give up control of their wealth.
• As God magnified Joshua in the land of Canaan, the anointing is going to magnify us in the last days which will make us unstoppable in the face of the opposition.

3. The covering anointing- Psalm 27:5.

• The anointing that is coming upon the End-time church will be a covering.
• There will be attempts to destroy the church. But we will be covered.
• The anointing will hide us and we will be the untouchables.
• When people wanted to stone Jesus, His anointing hid Him so the enemy could not find Him.
• David had the covering anointing so that King Saul could not find him.

4. The super anointing.

• Philip functioned with a super anointing.
• Be ready for the power that empowered Philip to run faster than a chariot.
• God is going to use us supernaturally and He will take us from one place to another, place in the spirit to preach to people in far-away places.
• Time is coming when God will translate us because jet planes will be too slow for us.

There will be too much for us to do!!

5. The anointing for super evangelism:-

• There are two gospels. There is the gospel of salvation but there is also the gospel of the kingdom.
• Jesus Christ preached both gospel of the kingdom and the gospel of salvation.
• The coming revival will bring entire cities and nations on their knees in submission to God- Matt.24:14.
• Signs and wonders will follow the preaching of the gospel which will release a healing anointing that will touch and heal every sick person everywhere we go- Matt.9:35.
• That is the super evangelism that God is going to release upon the church- Rev.14:15.
• We are anointed for this harvest which is ready to receive salvation, healing and deliverance.

6. The anointing for super finances- Prov.8:21

“That I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth, that I may fill their treasuries.”

• God is going to transfer the wealth of the world into the hands of His anointed people in the last days.
• There is going to be a supernatural abundance even in the times of famine.
• When money failed in Egypt, God anointed Joseph to preside over all the finances of Egypt.
• Pharaoh recognized this anointing on Joseph.
• God will release this same spirit of Joseph on the church which will preside all over the wealth that is in the world.

THE WEALTH OF THE UNRIGHTEOUS- Prov. 3:22

• Biblical transfers of great wealth.
• Wealth transfer is not new.

1. Abraham despite a near tragic misunderstanding was given vast wealth by Pharaoh-Gen.12:13.
2. Isaac, despite famine in the land obeyed God and sowed in the midst of drought. He “began to prosper and continued prospering until he became very prosperous” he also received a great wealth transfer from Abimelech-Gen.26.
3. Jacob was given the wealth of his father in-law- Laban Gen.31.
4. Joseph received the wealth of a super power called Gen.41.
5. Israel as they left Egypt was given great wealth, silver and gold from their captors- Exo.3:19-22.
6. Solomon was given the wealth of the nations becoming the richest man on the planet because of God’s great power and favor- 1^st Kings10:23.

REASONS FOR THE TRANSFER OF WEALTH.

1. So that we can enjoy our rightful benefits.

• We have kingdom rights to healing, health, finances, protection and wealth.

2. To show others a better way.

• We are forerunners of the kingdom.
• The best way for people to spread the kingdom is for the people to see the fruit of heaven manifest in us and around us.
• People ought to see the kingdom in us even before we speak.

3. To survive in the last days.

• We need to have access to money and wealth in these last days.

4. We will preside over the wealth of the unrighteous.

• Kingdom living is living in abundance physically, spiritually and financially.

5. So that we can leave an inheritance to our children’s children.
6. To fulfil God’s plan for the nations.
7. To set your position in and for eternity.

• We will rule with Christ a 1,000 years and then for eternity.

TYPES OF WEALTH TRANSFER

1. Supernatural transfer- salvation army received 1.5 billion dollars from McDonalds. The children of Israel received wealth from Egyptians.
2. Power to make wealth.

• Through inventions and technology.

3. Social entrepreneurship-through solving people’s problems.
4. Wealthy individual conversations.

CONCLUSION

• There is no easy path to blessings and riches.
• Apply God’s principles found in the Bible.
• Avoid making debt and if you are in debt do not make any more debt.
• Think big and activate God- anointed imagination because it will kick start your future.
• Serve God faithfully with all your heart.
• Develop a vital relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Discover your divine purpose and pursue it.
• You will experience a complete turn around in your spiritual life.
• Remember the blessings of the Lord makes one rich and adds no sorrow with it- Proverbs 10:22.
