OPEN HEAVENS THROUGH HOLY DISTURBANCE

ISAIAH 64:1

INTRODUCTION

This passage is a great prayer point asking God to tear open the heavens and come down with His presence and every mountain will have no choice but to melt and flow away. It talks about rendering the heavens. Look at Isaiah 62:6-7, I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day or night. Ye that makes mention of the Lord, keep not silence, and give Him no rest, till He establish and till He make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

This is one method of creating open heavens. It is the holy disturbance that we are talking about, and God enjoys this kind of disturbance.

Let us notice:-

I.  WHAT IS HOLY DISTURBANCE?

• It is prayer- prayer is very deep, mysterious and very powerful.
• This is why unseen forces work very hard to hinder people from praying.
• Satan will work very hard to let people do everything but not to pray.
• Prayer is one of the three pillars that uphold Christians and make them stand in the faith.
• The three pillars are; Holiness, the Word and Prayer
• If you miss any of the three pillars you cannot stand as a believer.
• Prayer is the only thing the devil cannot do in the house of God.
• He can dance, sing, entertain, preach, counsel, but he cannot pray.
• Even angels don’t have the privilege of prayer.
• Prayer is given to the children of God. A Christian is most powerful on his knees.
• Men and women can despise you, they can reject your message and despise your person, but they are helpless when it gets to your prayers.
• When you spend time with God in prayer, it is the most useful thing on earth.
• Prayer is not something you do, prayer is something that God does through you.
• There are three intercessors in prayer, the child of God, the Holy Spirit and son of God. (Rom.8:26-27)
• Do not let the enemy succeed in stopping you from praying, in Jesus name.
• The man who can really pray has nothing to fear.
• You are always in the midst of foes, watch and pray.
• Revival comes out of prayer and praying people.
• There cannot be a fresh anointing without a visit to the school of prayer, because prayer converts promises to performance.
• Jacob prayed violently and wrestled with the Angle for seven hours until morning “I will not let you go unless you bless me”
• Blind Bartimaeus, cried out violently, He refused to keep quiet until Christ heard him.
• The bible does not say “preach all the time” But “Pray all the time” ( I Thess 5:7, Eph 6:18)
• Prayers do not die and prayers are not wasted (Rev.8:1-5)

II.   OPEN HEAVENS

• Please, understand this issue because it will make us obtain breakthrough for our lives.
• May situations in your life will remain unchanged until you obtain breakthroughs.
• Failure, poverty and lack will remain in many places until breakthrough comes.
• Why do we need breakthroughs? Since Adam fell in the Garden of Eden, the heavens became brass and the second heaven became the habitation of dark powers.
• When the haven becomes brass, the earth becomes iron (Deut.28:23)
• God says He will open the windows of heaven, meaning the windows of heaven can be closed.
• When the heavens become brass, to reach God becomes a practical impossibility.

III.  EQUIPMENTS FOR BLASTING THE HEAVENS OPEN.

• Prayer and fasting
• Worship and praise.
• Holiness and sacrificial giving.

IV.  WHY DO WE NEED BREAKTHROUGHS?

1. Many families and marriages have been oppressed by strongmen that have been attached to them hundreds of years.

• There are curses in many families which guarantee that nobody in that family would prosper.

2. Many were born into covenants of failure and sickness.
3. Others are under terrible curses, spells, evil domination and evil control.
4. Many live in the city but are being controlled and monitored from village through evil remote controlling powers, ear and eye cameras.
5. Many lives have been turned upside down and placed in the circle of vanity by household wickedness.
6. Many have many enemies and no friends.

• Our prayer should be “You heavens, open for me in the Name of Jesus, Amen”
• Daniel prayed for 21 days before his heavens opened (Daniel 10:12-14)
• Jacob when he slept and had his head on a stone pillow, he saw Angels ascending and descending a sign of answered prayer (Gen.28:16)
• Jesus Christ spoke of open heavens, Angels ascending and descending upon the son of man (John 1:51; Matt.3:13-17)
• Stephen too saw heavens open (Acts 7:56)
• When heavens open unto you, power will descend.
• When heavens open Goliath must die, God begins to honour you, divine approval, your marriage comes alive, stubborn family members become born again.

V.  PRAYERS THAT TEAR HEAVEN OPEN.

• Prayers from a Holy heart, prayers of fire and power.
• Prayers that turn the enemies against each other.
• Submit yourself fully to Christ. Receive Christ into your life. If you are saved- live a Holy Life.

CONCLUSION- PRAYER POINTS.

1. O God, move me from where I am now to where you want me to be In Jesus Name.
2. I bind the strongman of poverty in my life in the Name of Jesus Christ.
3. I bind the spirit of poverty in every area of my life in the Name of Jesus Christ.
4. I command my heaven to open in the Name of Jesus Christ.
