PULLING DOWN SATANIC ALTARS

1 KINGS 13: 1- 5 EXODUS 23:1

INTRODUCTION:

So many satanic altars are raised against a child of God to prevent the fulfilment of the purpose of God in his life and cut off destiny. But these altars could be pulled down by the power of the Holy Spirit who gives us dominion, power and authority over these altars.

In I Kings 13: 1- 5, we can see several things concerning an altar;

1. Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense: sacrifice is offered to the altar to Satan or God depending on who is offering and what and how it is being offered.
2. The man of God cried against the altar: so it is possible to speak against satanic altars in the Name of the Lord. It is my prayer right now that the word of God will pull down all satanic altars raised against you and this church in Jesus Name.
3. The king Jeroboam stretches forth his hand from the altar against the man of God. Evil can be programmed against the people of God from satanic altars.
4. The altar was vent into ashes poured from the altar. Satanic altars can be completely destroyed through prophetic utterance in the Name of the Lord. So, I prophesy against all satanic altars raised against the purpose of God in your life in Jesus Name.

Let us learn;

I.  THE PURPOSE OF SATANIC ALTARS

• Satanic altars can exist physically or spiritually and they are raised to fulfil one or more of the following purposes:-

1. It is a place designed for offering sacrifices to Satan and his demons in order to appease them or to make a request for their assistance.
2. It is a place where blood is shed, either of animals or of human and because the life of anything is in its blood. There is blood crying at satanic altars (south Africa is currently doing human blood sacrifice through the current xenophobia)
3. It is a satanic dining table where evil spirits and demons are served food. They can be served usual food to attract their blessings upon the person offering the sacrifice or they give a wrong type of food on behalf of someone so that the demons can punish the person.
4. It is a place of spiritual exchange. At satanic altars, they can exchange people’s glory and destiny to turn them to nonentity.
5. It is a place of spiritual fellowship for demonic spirits and their agents. At satanic altars, people who consult evil priests (witchdoctors) are in fellowship with demons whether they are aware of it or not.
6. It is a place of making satanic covenants or sealing a spiritual contract, the people involved in it are conscious of it or not. The only covenant we are allowed to enter into as children of God apart from the covenant with blood and the broken body of Jesus Christ is the covenant of marriage that is done on God’s way according to His principles.
7. It is a seat of power, a place of making decisions and taking deliberations by satanic spirits and demons. At satanic altars, demons and their agents decide the lives of people and deliberate on what to do against or in support of their subject. They also have their power demonstrated from the altar.
8. It is a place of evil spiritual transactions. Many lives and destinies are traded and bought at satanic altars. Joseph was sold in Egypt so that the purpose of God for him will not come to pass. Many are sold or being sold at satanic altars and their God-given visions and dreams could no longer be realized.
9. It is a place of spiritual monitoring and control of people and events in the spirit realm. Many people are being monitored and teleguided by satanic agents. Success becomes difficult for such people, unless by the intervention of the Almighty God.
10. It is a place of spiritual communication, reinforcements and evaluation of satanic activities.

II.  THE PROCESS AT SATANIC ALTARS.

• Apart from altars of idols, shrines and family occults that are seen physically, other satanic altars exist spiritually. The following are the processes at satanic altars even at the time of king Jeroboam:-

1. Placing sacrifice at T – junctions, to transfer evil things to the first person that will see the sacrifice.
2. Praying with candles, incense and perfumes. People that pray or carry out any religious activities with such materials are operating at satanic altars.
3. Reading of satanic books or using the Bible in the wrong way. Occultic books are not for any child of God.
4. Having a special bath at the river or using special prayer water in bathing. Stream bath connects with water spirits.
5. Consulting trees or rocks, or hanging something on trees or keeping something by the trees.
6. Making images with wood or mud to represent people and influencing them spiritually. Photos used in prayers are satanic altars.
7. Sharing food, money or gifts after making some satanic utterance. A lot of people are initiated into the spirit world because of food they ate in real life or in dreams.
8. Taking somebody’s materials or body parts to use for rituals or for other satanic activities, materials such as clothing, underwears, shoes, bags, and toothbrushes. Sometimes such materials go missing and reappeared again, you should pray on them before use.

III.   THE POWER TO PULL DOWN SATANIC ALTARS

• Only the power of the Holy Spirit can pull down satanic altars (Zech 4:6-7).
• The power of the Holy Spirit comes after you have experienced the new birth and you are baptized in the Holy Spirit.
• Once you are born again, the power of the Holy Spirit can destroy all satanic altars raised against you.
• You need to maintain a godly living in order to enjoy continuous support of the Holy Spirit.
• All kinds of behaviours and attitudes that will grieve the Holy Spirit must be avoided.
• As you pray renounce all covenants with the devil known and unknown. Make sure that no property of the devil is within your custody.
• The word of God must be the standard for all actions and behaviours you embark on.

CONCLUSION

• Father, I take dominion, power, authority and control over all satanic altars erected against my life and destroy them in the Name of Jesus Christ.
• I renounce of evil covenants, known and unknown in the Name of Jesus Christ
