THE DAYS OF NOAH-BIRTH PAINS FOR THE END TIMES

SERIES: THE SCHOOL OF BIBLE PROPHECY.

TEXT: 2^nd Peter 3:3-7.

This is an introduction to studying Bible prophecy and the current state of our world. Prophecy constitutes almost one third of the Bible but prophecy is down played in our churches-2^nd Peter 3:3-7.

The Bible is a prophetic book and it is a book about Jesus Christ in His first and second coming. There are 574 verses in the Old Testament that describe the coming of the Messiah-The Lord JESUS CHRIST. Jesus fulfilled 300 prophecies in His first coming and His ministry on earth. The remaining 274 prophecies will be fulfilled at His second coming. The fulfilment of these prophecies speaks to the authority of scripture.

If we can trust and know that Jesus Christ fulfilled prophecy concerning His first coming, then why should we have doubts concerning His second coming?-Rev. 19:10; Romans 13:12-14; 1^st Peter 4:7-11.

The primary way in which Satan deceives man is by convincing him to question the authority of God’s word-Gen. 3:1

Just as the Jews were blinded by the first coming of Jesus due to their ignorant or deceived to the coming of His second coming. Jesus Christ illustrates His second coming birthing pains.

Birthing pains are contractions that increase in frequency and intensity the closer the birth.

The final pain will be great tribulation with the arrival of the anti-Christ-Matt. 24:1-8; Romans 8:22.

Jesus Christ declared that there will be series of three (3) global events (birthing pains) that will lead the world into the final movements of suffering before the Messiah comes.

Remember that these contractions will increase in frequency and intensity the closer the coming of the Messiah comes. Let us learn:-

GLOBAL SPIRITUAL DECEPTIONS-1^st Timothy 4:1-3.

• These liars forbid marriage require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving.
• These liars say, “peace and security” when every sign points to war-1^st Thess. 5:3.
• Today we see this happening in very incredible ways.

1. Apostasy of the church.
2. Teaching of false doctrines.
3. Teaching doctrines of demons.
4. Laodicean attitude.
5. Increase of Jezebel spirit.
6. Increase of Islam and other false religions.
7. Global wars.

• There are six significant wars of the last days:-

1. WW1-Return of the Jews to the land of Israel.
2. WW2-Return of the land to the Jews.
3. Six days war-Return of Jerusalem and Judea to Israel.
4. God and Magod-Spiritual awakening of Israel begins and happening now.
5. Then the rapture of the church and the war and the war of the Anti-Christ-Rev. 6:1-4.
6. Armageddon-Return of Messiah to Israel-Rev. 6:3-4.

GLOBAL FAMINES.

• • The global food chains are breaking down.
  • As the impact of the above wars are felt-farmers will not be able to produce food.
  • Control of food sources and compliance of populations-Rev. 6:5-6.

GLOBAL PANDEMICS.

• Covid pandemic-The great global deception-Rev. 6:8.
• It will just be like the days of Noah-Matt. 24:37-38.
• Jesus was pointing out that although the people of Noah’s day were totally depraved, they were not the least bit concerned about it.
• They were carrying on their affairs and lives as if it was normal, eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage-up until the day Noah entered the ark!!
• They did not care about the judgement of God-2^nd Peter 2:5.
• The world wants to destroy itself through mass killings through man-made diseases, food poisoning, water poisoning, clothes, sanitary, towels, toilet papers, deodorants, air pollutions-Gen. 6:1-4.
• The world is reproducing with the demonic personalities and entities.
• The rapture will be God rescue plan from God’s judgement for those who will put their faith in Him-1^st 5:1-2.
• All believers must stay awake-Matt. 24:42-44.
• All believers must be ready, raise up their heads because their redemption is drawing near-Luke 21:28.

CONCLUSION

• The Bible is full of warnings and signs preparing us for the coming of Jesus Christ.
• Bible prophecy is not sensationalism to scare people or to create conspiracy theories.
• Bible prophecy is there to show us God’s rescue plan for those who will put their trust in Jesus Christ.
• Today we have clear indication of the time that is approaching. God has given us prophecy so that we may not be deceived but to know and be ready. Are you ready?
