THE PLAN OF THE STRONGMAN

SERIES: DELIVERANCE

TEXT: LUKE 11:21-22

There is an antity in the Bible called the STRONMAN. This entity is a powerful negative spiritual system whose assignment is to thwart God’s plan and purpose for your life in any situation.

The Lord Jesus Christ introduced us to this strongman in the parable of the strongman. This strongman is also called the “accuser of the brethren.”

Luke 11:21-23, “when the strongman fully armed, guards hos own dwelling, his goods are safe. But when someone stronger attacks him and overcomes him, he takes from him his whole armour in which he trusted and divides his spoils.

• Fully armed means that the strongman has every tool at his disposal to ensure you do not attain God’s purpose for your life. Let us learn:-

HOW THE STRONGMAN OPERATES.

• A strongman situation ensures that people go through life as wanderers not achieving anything, not attaining any heights, just using their noses to sniff, directionless and purposesless for decades.
• A strong man situation ensures a ministry in never effective, has no fruits to show for years of toil, that a minister of the gospel can barely feed his/herself or the flock physically and spiritually.

• A strong man situation ensures that the stars of a family wilt and dry at midstream when they are supposed to be excelling and making a difference, they stumble and die suddenly not being able to point at anything they did.
• A strong man ensures a marriage full of promise is destroyed by third party, strangers, suspicion, mistreat and infidelity.
• A strong man situation ensures a promising business with good products and ideas is buffeted suddenly and collapses under the weight of wrong managerial decisions, the spirit of error and insider attacks.
• If you ever get a dream of strong men sitting in your home or your business premises or in your children’s bedroom, it means you have to pray!!
• If you have a dream of strongman sitting in your church premises, it means you have to pray hard.

THE STRONG MAN CAN ONLY BE CHALLENGED BY A STRONG MAN

• Luke 11:22 says; But when someone stronger attacks him and he overcomes him, he takes from him his whole armor in which he trusted and divides his spoils.
• The only one who can attack the strongman and win the battle, the war is the one who is above all principalities, powers and authority.
• The Lord Jesus has power over all principalities and powers. Jesus Christ is far superior to the angels and demonic powers. Jesus Christ has command over every form of power and authority- Colossians 2:10; John 1:1-5.
• The stronghold cannot comprehend Jesus, it is impossible for darkness to comprehend the light.
• Colossians 2:15 Yeshua “the rescuer” the “deliverer” is able to plunder the strongman in your family, marriage, business, ministry, health and rescue you completely.
• The strongmen are warriors, they are tough contending with us on a daily basis.
• See what the Bible says in Isaiah 49:24-25. There is hope for the children of God- Jer. 2:13, Jer. 17:13.

PRAYER POINTS FOR US:-

• By faith I receive invincible strength to power the strongman afflicting me and I take back all my goods that are in his storehouse- in the name of Jesus Christ.
• By faith I send God’s angels to plunder the strongman afflicting me, I take back all my goods that are in his storehouse in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Let the scent of God’s living waters remove every stench of death and resurrect my destiny in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Let the household strongman causing early death in my family die in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Lord Jesus Christ, contend with a defeat strongman waiting for me at the edge of my breakthroughs and successes in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Let every scourge of strongman manifesting in my life be cured by the blood of Jesus Christ.
