WHAT IS YOUR CONCLUSION ABOUT YOUR CONDITION

PSALM 34:17-19

INTRODUCTION

Nobody can run away from trouble and problems. There is no place that is far that you can run to and trouble will not find you. Life is one trouble or another. Anyone telling you that you will have a life without trouble and problems is just cheating you. A look at Psalm 34:17-19 and Psalm 9:9 reveals that trouble comes to all. Even the righteous are not exempt since problems and trouble are not respecters of anybody. A problem free life is only available in heaven. Problems come anyway, whether you invite them or not. God in His own way of training us will always leave a challenge in your life for you to conquer. We become stronger through conquering. The Bible calls us believers, “The overcomers” (Rev.12:11)

I.  WHAT IS LIFE?

  • Life is a process of solving problems all through.
  • For those in Jesus Christ, however, every problem is a miracle in disguise. God delivers us not from problems but through our problems.
  • The deliverance for the three Hebrews boys did not come outside the fiery furnace but inside the fire.
  • Problems can make you bitter or better, problems can either break you or build you up.
  • However, every problem has an expiry date and that is the mystery of life itself.
  • For every night there is a morning. Problems in one way or another are springboards to success.
  • A little rain of trouble falls into every life.
  • Some people start their battle from the womb, others at their youth, while others get the share at old age.
  • You cannot be victorious without a battle and sometimes a war.
  • But remember, “your condition is not as important as your conclusion”
  • What matters is what happens in you because of what happened to you!!
  • When you have a problem don’t draw the wrong conclusion. “Why me? What did I do wrong? Life is not fair, who bewitched me?”

II.  HUMAN CONCLUSIONS TO THEIR PROBLEMS.

  1. Many people conclude their problems with weeping but weeping cannot save you.
  2. So many people conclude with sorrow, self-pity or hysteria.
  3. Others go into a rage and throw tantrums of anger.
  4. Others conclude with cursing, they do all kinds of curses against people.
  5. Others even abuse God, but it is wrong conclusion.
  6. Others become suicidal, they attempt suicide, and some succeed.
  7. Others when problems come they go into sudden holiness and pray that Jesus come quickly; because of problems not because they love Him. It is wrong conclusion.
  8. Some other become salves to prophets, they submit themselves to anyone for prayers, “the prophet syndrome” is common in Kenya, however when your prophet dies, your problem returns.
  9. Others become depressed, downcast, and quarrelsome and withdrawn, murmur, complain – wrong conclusion.
  • Your condition is not as important as your conclusion.
  • God will never allow but news to be the last news.
  • God will never allow your enemies to have the last laugh when your conclusion is right.
  • God turns our night to day and our mess into a miracle, your problem work for you. Worry and anxiety are wrong conclusions.

III.  ATTITUDE IS MOST IMPORTANT:

  • Attitude makes all the difference. Beliefs are statements we tell ourselves about us, others and God.
  • Attitudes are beliefs with emotions attached. But values are beliefs with attitudes attached.
  • Attitudes are primarily the way people react to situations. Attitude can be positive or negative.
  • Your conclusion decides your condition, right attitude will allow you to choose action instead of withdrawal, growth, not stagnation, courage not fear.
  • Happiness in life is determined by 10% what happens to you and 90% of how you react.

IV.  HOW TO MAKE A PROPER CONCLUSION ABOUT ANY CONDITION.

  1. Repent of any known sin.
  2. Refuse to wallow in self-pity
  3. Focus on God, not your problems.
  4. Face one problem at a time, prioritize, and don’t fight useless battles.
  5. Do not think or confess negativity
  6. Hold firmly to the promise of God.
  7. Expect a divine solution, see yourself bigger than your problems. God is always greater than any problem.

CONCLUSION

  1. My Father, forgive me for my wrong and negative attitude.
  2. Thou power of affliction, deposit of poverty and failure, die now in The Name of Jesus
  3. Every power that has vowed to destroy my life you are defeated in Jesus name.
