YOU CAN FULFILL YOUR DIVINE PURPOSE

SERIES: HOW TO FULFILL YOUR DIVINE DESTINY.

TEXT: JEREMIAH 1:4-12.

Fulfilling divine purpose means walking in God’s plan for your life and completing the assignment for which you were created. “Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee, and before thou comest out of the womb, I sanctified of thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the Nations”-Jer. 1:5.

Every person on Earth was created with a divine purpose. Life is not a product of chance it is carefully orchestrated by God who has a plan for every individual.

You where not born by accident, your existence is intentional and tied to a greater plan that God wants to accomplish through you.

Destiny is the reason for existence, the assignment God has placed in your hands and the destiny He designed for you before you were born.

Until a person discovers and walks in their divine purpose, life remains empty unfulfilled and directionless.

True joy and satisfaction in life come only when you are aligned with the will of God for your existence.

It is sad to know that many people live and the without ever knowing and fulfilling their divine purpose. God’s divine though is that you will rise to fulfill the reason for your creation.

In (Acts 13:36) the Bible says of King David “For David after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep.”

Dear friends, you were created to fulfill divine purpose, and heaven is counting n you.

Let us learn:-

DIVINE PURPOSE IS GOD-ORDAINED.

  • Your purpose originates from God and not from human ideas.

God is the author of purpose-(Isaiah 46:10).

  • He declares the end from the beginning and ordains your destiny.

Purpose is predetermined-(Jer. 1:5).

  • Before birth, God had already assigned you a unique calling.

Purpose gives life meaning-(Prov. 19:21).

  • Many plans are in a man’s heart, but only God’s counsel will stand.
  • How many plans do you have in your heart?

Purpose is spiritual, not physical-(Eph. 2:10).

  • We are created in Christ Jesus for good works prepared beforehand.
  • God revealed to Jeremiah that he was ordained as a prophet even before his birth-(Jer. 1:5)

DIVINE PURPOSE REQUIRES DISCOVERY.

  • No one can fulfill what they have not discovered.

Discovery comes through seeking God-(Matt. 7:7)

  • Ask, seek and knock and God will reveal His plan.

The word reveals purpose-(Psalm 119:105)

  • God’s word is a lamp that directs us into divine purpose.

The Holy Spirit guides into purpose John-(John 16:13)

  • The Holy Spirit guides and reveals God’s will and leads believers into destiny.

Prayer is key to discovery-(Jer. 33:3)

  • Call upon God and He will show you great and mighty things.
  • On the road to Damascus, Paul discovered God’s divine purpose for his life-(Acts 9:3-6, 15)

DIVINE PURPOSE REQUIRES OBEDIENCE.

  • Purpose can only be fulfilled when we yield to God’s will.

Obedience is better than sacrifice-(1st Sam. 15:22)

  • Purpose is aborted without obedience to God’s instructions.

Partial obedience hinders purpose-(Jonah 1:3)

  • Jonah ran from God’s assignment and faced consequences.

Obedience brings fulfillment-(John 2:5)

  • Miracles happen when we do whatever God commands.

Obedience attracts divine support-(Isaiah 1:19)

  • If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the lands.
  • Noah obeyed God’s instructions to build the Ark fulfilling his divine assignment. (Gen. 6:22)

DIVINE PURPOSE IS FOR GOD’S GLORY.

  • Your life, assignment is not about self, but about God’s glory.

Purpose must glorify God-(1st Corinthians 10:31)

  • Whatever you do must bring glory to God.

Purpose blesses others-(Gen 12:2)

  • God blesses you to be a blessing to others.

Purpose is Kingdom focused-(Matt. 6:33)

  • Seek first the kingdom of God and everything else will follow.

Purpose impacts generations to come-(Psalm 145:4)

  • One generation shall praise His works to another.
  • Esther fulfilled purpose by serving her people. “For such a time as this”(Esther 4:14).

CONCLUSION

  • Your greatest fulfillment in life is tied to living out God’s divine purpose for your existence.
  • Anything outside God’s purpose for your life is a wasted effort and misplaced energy.
  • Therefore, seek God, discover His assignment for your life and obey His instructions diligently.
  • When you live for divine purpose, your life becomes impactful, fulfilling and eternally rewarded.
