DECREE YOUR BREAKTHROUGH

SERIES: SPIRITUAL BREAKTHROUGHS

TEXT: JOB 22:28.

 

In Job 22:28, the Bible says, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee; and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”

  • This verse states that you have to make a decree and when it is established, light will shine on your way. It means that without issuing that decree, nothing will be established; there will be darkness.
  • The whole world was in darkness until the Lord God issued a decree. The world was void, dark and He said, “Let there be light” or “light be” in Hebrew. God created something out of nothing. You too can issue decrees today and something will happen in your life. Let us learn:-

WHAT IS A DECREE?

  • A decree is an official command, the establishment of a thing in a militant way or using an official order.
  • The Bible says “whatsoever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven.”
  • A decree is a decision of a king or government.
  • A decree is order having the force of law behind it.
  • A decree is an authoritative order or decision to which people have to comply.
  • A decree is a determination of someone who has power.
  • It is to ordain a thing.
  • To decree is to decide what is to be done and what has to take place-Eccl. 8:7, “Where the word of the king is, there is power and who may say unto him, what doest thou?”
  • In Revelation 1:5-6 princes and kings can decree things in and out.
  • We are kings by divine appointment. We are not to plead with Satan and satanic powers to release what they have captured or make a request to them.
  • We are not to pacify the enemy, pacifying prayers do work.
  • When we issue a decree, the decree cannot be challenged in a court of law-Job 22:28.
  • You and I are anointed to speak to our mountains-Matt. 11:23.
  • You need to issue decrees against some powers today. What will you decree?

WHAT TO DECREE AGAINST.

  1. The spirit of Cain.
  • Cain envied his brother Abel so much that he killed him. This is the first example of household wickedness.
  • The spirit of Cain is household wickedness that is bent on killing and destroying. It is envious household wickedness.
  • The spirit of Cain can at times manifest itself in dreams. When you see a snake coiled around your body.

PRAY:

  • Every “Cain” spirit in my household, lose your power, in the name of Jesus.
  • Let my “Cain” die in the name of Jesus Christ.
  1. The spirit of Ishmael-Gen. 16:11-12.
  • The spirit of Ishmael is part of what troubles our country Kenya. It is the “Queen of heaven” the spirit of the talisman and amulet.
  • It is a spirit that utters enchantment into the heavenlies.
  • It is the spirit of violence and wild enemies.
  • It is the spirit of Al-Qaida and Al-Shaabab.
  • People who come from the background of Ishmael are still fighting battles.
  • The spirit of Ishmael is a wild, stubborn power of the enemy.

PRAY:

  • Every power pressing sand against my life, die in the name of Jesus Christ.
  • Every power chanting my name into the sun, moon and stars, die in the name of Jesus Christ.
  • Let every Ishmael be disgraced in the name of Jesus Christ.
  1. The spirit of Pisgah-Deut. 34:1-6.
  • Moses led Israel for 40 years, just before they got into the Promised Land, Moses made a mistake and God killed Moses.
  • This is Moses who saw the burning bush. He saw the glory of God. He was a friend of God. He did many miracles, but he died before he could enter the Promised Land.
  • He died on the way. The spirit of Pisgah is the spirit of failure at the edge of success.
  • It is the spirit of almost there.

PRAY:

  • You serpent and scorpion at the edge of my breakthroughs, die in the name of Jesus Christ.
  • Every spirit of lame breakthroughs in my life, I bind you and cast you out, in the name of Jesus.
  • Every power militating against my life, I destroy your crown in the name of Jesus.
  • I bind the spirit of almost there, in the name of Jesus.
  1. The spirit of Absalom-2nd 15:14.
  • This is the spirit of strange children attacking the family.
  • The enemy is using children in the family to work against everybody.
  • You hear the children confessing to witchcraft and familiar spirits and illuminati.
  • The Psalmist cried, “O Lord, deliver me from strange children.” You too pray.
  • Children confessing to witchcraft, children destroying their families, blocking the prosperity of their parents completely.
  • You employ a house-girl only for her to introduce your children to witchcraft.
  • Absalom was a strange child in the family of David.

PRAY

  • “O Lord deliver me from my strange children.”
  1. The spirit of Ahitophel- 2nd16-23.
  • This is the spirit of evil counselors, they who counsel in order to destroy and hold evil counsel against people- 2nd Sam15:31.

PRAY

  • Every evil counsel working against my life, I turn you into foolishness in Jesus name.
  1. Spirit of Uzziah- Isaiah 6:1.
  • This is the spirit that blocks or erases divine vision. It hinders people from receiving the best from the Lord.
  • It causes trouble when you are about to enter into your breakthrough, prevents you from receiving God’s best.

PRAY

  • Let my Uzziah die in the name of Jesus.
  1. The spirit of Pharaoh.
  • This refers to stubborn pursuers, the occultic prayer practitioners who have vowed not to let go on a person so that the person will not get his/her area of breakthrough.
  • Today many Christians have stubborn pursuers that have been trailing them for years.
  • Some people have been pursued since birth.
  • These pursuers pass your case file when they are about to die to new pursuers.

PRAY

  • Every spirit of Pharaoh working against my life, gather yourselves together and perish in the Red Sea in the name of Jesus.
  1. The spirit of Herod.
  • This is the spirit that kills good things at infancy.
  • It destroys callings and potentials, it is the spirit of amputation.
  • This spirit kills any baby, business, church, marriage, family at infancy- Matt.2:16.

PRAY

  • Let every “Herod” die in the name of Jesus.
  1. Spirit of Haman- Esther 3:9-13.
  • It is the spirit of untimely death. It makes plot against you and prepare instruments of death for you.
  • Haman plotted against Mordecai and the children of Israel in Persian Empire.

PRAY

  • My enemies shall die in my place after the order of Haman in the name of Jesus.
  1. The spirit of Balaam- Num.22:5-6.
  • The spirit of hired curses against people.
  • The enemy hires a witchdoctor and divines and these ones curse the people concerned and carry out rituals against them.

PRAY

  • Every spiritual consultation targeted to destroy me, backfire in the name of Jesus.
  1. The spirit of Goliath- 1st Samuel 17.
  • Defies God in the lives of His children.

ONE THING YOU MUST DO

  • You must issue decrees against these powers.
  • But first you must totally surrender your life to Christ.
  • Claim the redemptive power in the sacrifice that the Lord Jesus made of Himself on the cross at Calvary.
  • Ask for the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ upon your life.
  • Pray with total determination in your spirit.

CONCLUSION: Pray

  • Poison of darkness in my life come out and die in Jesus name.
  • Every incantation of demotion from any direction backfire in the name of Jesus.
  • Everything stolen from me by household witchcraft, I repossess you by fire in the name of Jesus Christ.
  • Mountain of poverty, sickness, joblessness, barrenness, sorrow and confusion move in the name of Jesus.
  • Let my heaven open, let poverty die in the name of Jesus Christ.
