MY GOD IS MY DELIVERER
TEXT: PALMS 125:1-5
“They that trust in the Lord shall be a mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abideth forever. As the mountains are around about Jerusalem, so the Lord is around about His people from hence forth even forever. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous” Psalms 125:1-3.
This is the Living God declaring that the rod of the wicked that has been resting upon the lot of the righteous for some time now, will no longer rest upon them. “Lest the righteous put forth their hands into iniquity.”
When the rod of the wicked remain for some time on the righteous, the righteous start doing what is unexpected of them. When you start seeing saved people doing and behaving in a way that is not expected of respectable people, you should know that the rod of the wicked has rested on them and their unrighteousness has been taken into iniquity.
When you look among the saved, born again people of God in our churches and country, you get surprised. The believers are just doing what the non believers are doing. The believers are just as corrupt as the non believers. It is my prayer that anyone operating under the rod of the wicked will receive deliverance in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
Now that we are saved, is there any difference between us and the not saved? If in Kenya, we say we are 85% Christians, why is there so much corruption? Why is it that salt and the light that we are is not felt?
In Isaiah 14; 1-5, the Bible says, “For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel and set them in their own land and strangers shall be joined with them and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob. And the people shall take them and bring them to their place and the house of Israel shall posses them in the land of the Lord for the servants and hand maids and they shall take them captives. Whose captives they were and they shall rule over their oppressors. And it shall come to pass in that day that the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow and from fear and from the hand bondage wherein thou wast made to suffer. That thou shalt take up this proverb against the King of Babylon and say, how hath the oppressor seized the golden, city ceased? The Lord has broken the staff of the wicked and the rod of the rulers.”
The Lord Himself will break the staff of the wicked upon your life in Jesus Name-Amen. The rods of the wicked come in various shapes, colors and sizes.
When the enemy desires to terminate the good things in a life, they may plant their rod in such a life or in his or her home.
Sometime the rod of the wicked is just staying with you as a relative or close friend.
When you want to do anything, pray and open your eyes and heart to the Holy Spirit and God will open your understanding.
The rod of the wicked represents the authority of the enemy in your life.
The rod of wickedness comes at different stages of a person’s life. For some people the rod of wickedness starts operating right from the womb.
- The Lord delivers by first locating the enemy and his operations in a person’s life or family.
- The Lord says “He was always angry with the wicked.”
Let us learn:-
- WHAT AREAS DO THESE WICKED RODS ATTACK MOSTLY?
- They attack the whole life of a person, the one called Destiny. When they lay their rod of wickedness upon a destiny of a person, the person will find it difficult to excel even in simple things.
- They attack marriages.
- They attack the vision of a person.
- They lay the rod on the business of some people. When the rod of wickedness is a business the people involved would just be there. They will not have anything to show that they were doing any business.
- They attack parts of a person’s body, for example the womb, the reproductive organ, the hands, the legs, the heart etc.
- WHAT DO THEY ACHIEVE?
- They want to promote scarcity of blessings.
- If there is regular flow of good things into that life they would terminate it.
- They want to terminate a person’s generations before they are born.
- They use this rod to direct a person, into a contrary path and the person will think he is still on the right path.
- They promote frustration.
- They promote hardship. A thing that should take only days, takes weeks.
- A thing that should take only weeks, takes months into years.
- It promotes emotional turbulence. It brings problems that will make you say, “I give up”.
- They promote sloughtfulness. When you hear a person say “I cannot do more than I am doing now, if anybody wants to die let him die.” This is because the rod of wickedness is laid on you.
- WHEN DO THESE ENEMIES LAY THEIR RODS OF WICKEDNESS
- When your star is shinning.
- When you are doing better things.
- When your hopelessness is disappearing.
- When the joy of your accomplishment is increasing.
- When God is blessing you materially.
- When you say I want to rest from all my labor.
- They come when you think nothing can harm you.
- They come when you are experiencing the power of the world.
- They come when you start experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit.
- When you are standing for God’s honor and righteousness more than you have ever done in your life before.
- WHAT MUST WE DO?
- When the rod is operating in a person’s life or in a family, the enemy would use bitterness; bitterness that cannot be explained could invade the life concerned.
- When you seek worldly wisdom rather than wisdom of the Holy Spirit.
- When you start neglecting prayer and your Bible.
- FIVE STEPS TO TAKE TO BREAK THE ROD OF WICKEDNESS
- Understand that it is only the living God that can deliver you from the rod of the wicked.
- Do a thorough self examination. If you are not born again yet, get born again.
- Start to walk in the ways of God.
- Refuse to harbor pride and bitterness in your heart.
- Call upon the Lord for deliverance from this wicked rod. The Lord God answers by fire when we believe.
- PRAYER POINTS.
- Oh Lord, give the enemy of my progress the knock of death in Jesus Name.
- Every wicked rod in my family, receive the fire of God and burn to ashes in Jesus Name.
- You wicked authority dragging my life behind be paralyzed by fire, in Jesus Name.
- I refuse the influence of the rod of the wicked in the Name of Jesus Christ.
- You rod of the wicked I terminate your affairs in my marriage and family in the Name of Jesus.
- I release my reproductive system and my generations from the authority of the wicked by fire, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
- Oh Lord accelerate your Glory upon my life and family, by fire, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

I thank the Lord Almighty God for being the light to every step of life in every decision and every move I made as a fully responsible man. I am so grateful to him for his direction to enabling me escape a spiritual attack to the upper jaw of which caused me a severe pain I am going through as a result . I heartily thank you Lord for saving the situation when I quickly release myself by chanting your your MIGHTY that reign above every other name. One of my biggest cry and supplications is for you Lord is to connect me to any available job I can do to pay all debts , take a very care of my offsprings by paying their school fees as well putting meal on the dining table for them each every day of my existence in your MIGHTY name Lord Amen and Amen ????????????????????????

My outmost prayer of request as an emergency is that you connect any form of job an able well built man of my stature I can do to pay all debts I owe also all the needs of my kids and also to invest in their education Amen and Amen ????????????????????????
