GOD GUIDES OUR DESTINIES.

SERIES: THE GOD WHO NEVER FAILS.

TEXT: PROVERBS 3:5-6.

 

Every destiny is a divine journey that must be guided by God. The tragedies and errors many face today are because they have charted, their own course without God leading. 

Destiny is God’s predetermined plan and purpose for each individuals.

Everybody is born with a divine assignment and only God can lead us into the fulfilment of that purpose.

Many lives go off course due to lack of divine direction or wrong guidance. It is crucial that believers seek God’s guidance continually.

God in His wisdom does not leave us to wander through life aimlessly. He provides directions through His word, His Holy Spirit and His servants. Divine guidance ensures we are not victims of wrong choices or satanic traps.

Without divine guidance destiny is either delayed or completely diverted.

Today, let us unveil how God guides destinies, why His guidance is indispensable and how to align our lives with His teachings. When God is your shepherd you will not lack purpose, direction or fulfilment. 

Let us learn:-

GOD IS THE MASTER PLANNER OF DESTINIES.

  1. God knows the end from the beginning-Isaiah 46:10.
  • Only the one who formed you knows the path that leads to your purpose.
  1. He created you with a specific purpose-Jeremiah 1:5.
  • You are not a product of chance.
  • You were born to fulfill divine intent.
  1. God has good plans for your future-Jeremiah 29:11.
  • God is not against you. He desires your peace and expected end.
  1. Destiny confusion happens when we plan without God-Proverbs 19:21.
  • Our devices lead to frustration because they lack God’s counsel.
  • Joseph was divinely guided from the pit to the prison and into the palace because God had a plan for him.

GOD’S GUIDANCE PREVENTS DESTINY MISTAKES.

  1. Divine direction saves from wrong decisions-Isaiah 30:21.
  • God leads with a still small voice to avoid costly errors.
  1. It helps you avoid traps and delays-Psalm 23:3-4.
  • When God leads, even the valley of the shadow of death becomes a path of victory.
  1. Many destinies were wasted due to lack of direction-Hosea 4:6.
  • Ignorance and haste destroy great callings.
  1. Being led by God guarantees safety and accuracy-Romans 8:14.
  • Those that are led by the spirit are children of destiny (God).
  • David always inquired of God before every battle and was preserved.

GOD USES DIFFERENT CHANNELS TO GUIDE DESTINIES.

  1. God leads through His word-Psalm 119:105.
  • The scriptures are a lamp and light to guide every step.
  1. The Holy Spirit is our inner compass-John 16:13.
  • He shows us things to come and helps us make godly choices.
  1. God can speak through dreams and visions-Joel 2:28.
  • These divine encounters often bring clarity to our assignments.
  1. God also guides through godly counsel-Proverbs 11:14.
  • Destiny helpers and mentors help us to stay aligned with divine help.
  • Paul received divine direction through visions and spiritual instructions-Acts 16:9-10.

DIVINE GUIDANCE REQUIRES OBEDIENCE AND SENSITIVITY.

  1. You must trust God above your own understanding-Prov. 3:5-6.
  • Divine guidance and leading starts with total dependence.
  1. Cultivate sensitivity to God’s voice-1st Sam. 3:10.
  • A dull spirit cannot hear clear instructions from heaven.
  1. Do not argue with divine instructions-2nd Kings 5:10-14; obedience is better than sacrifice, even when it looks foolish.
  2. Delay in obeying God’s leading can delay your breakthrough-Gen. 12:1-4.
  • Abraham’s journey started when he moved.
  • Peter obeyed God’s instructions to launch out again and caught a net-breaking miracle-Luke 5:4-6.

BENEFITS OF ALLOWING GOD TO GUIDE YOUR DESTINY.

  1. You fulfill your divine assignment with ease-Isaiah 48:17.
  • God teaches you to profit and leads you in the way you should go.
  1. You enjoy peace and fulfilment-Psalm 85:8.
  • There is no confusion when God is in charge.
  1. You avoid unnecessary losses and regrets-Psalm 37:23-24.
  • Even when you fall, God’s hand will lift you up.
  1. You attract favor and divine support.
  • Those who walk in divine direction, carry undeniable grace.
  • Ruth followed Naomi by divine arrangement and stepped into her place of honor.

CONCLUSION

  • Every destiny is a divine journey that must be guided by God.
  • The tragedies and errors many people face today are because they have charted their own course without God’s leading.
  • Only God can take you where He has ordained for you to be.
  • Trusting God for direction is not weakness, but wisdom.
  • If you will let God lead you, He will walk with you through every season of life until you arrive at your divine destination.
  • Let the Lord be your shepherd, avoid walking in wrong paths and your destiny will not be wasted.
