HOW TO DESTROY EVIL VEILS AND SHROUDS

TEXT: ISAIAH 25:7

INTRODUCTION

It is very important for the child of God to understand the biblical background behind disfavour, disgrace and hatred through the use of evil veils. Veils and shrouds can threaten to decimate someone’s glory. Evil veils and shrouds can shield opportunities, helpers and encouragers from someone’s life. In Isaiah 25:7 “and He will destroy on this mountain the surface of the covering cast over all people and the veil that is spread over all Nations. Look also at Ezekiel 13:17-19

I.   WHAT ARE A VEILS AND SHROUDS?

• A veil is an article of clothing worn almost exclusively by women, that is intended to cover some part of the head or face.
• Religions veils are intended to show honour to an object, space or place.
• A shroud usually refers to an item, such as a cloth, that covers or protects some other object.
• A shroud is a cloth or enveloping garment in which a dead body is wrapped for burial.
• A shroud is a thing that envelops or obscures something.
• Mist can shroud a mountain, people can operate behind a shroud of secrecy.
• See II Cor. 3:15-17 – Moses wore a veil, people’s hearts can be veiled and shrouded by ignorance.
• But, where the spirit of God is, there is liberty
• Many people destinies and lives have been shrouded and covered up in veils. Shrouding suggests the burial clothes used to wrap up dead bodies.

II.  EFFECTS OF EVIL VEILS AND SHROUDS IN PEOPLES’ LIVES

• Something that is shrouded or veiled is covered, wrapped, hidden, mantled, screened away from views or from its glory.
• The most shining glory or destiny can be shrouded or veiled.
• Veils and shrouds are like the eclipse of the sun when the moon though small covers the rays of the giant sun.
• Small things can eclipse your life, casting a veil or a shroud upon your life, causing obscurity.
• Many women glories have been veiled. They are beautiful, successful, educated and rich, but never having been noticed for marriage, although they are seeking to be married.
• A woman may be physically fit, no defect at all but she is practically unable to give birth to children. She may get pregnant but the baby is stillborn. This is because her glory as a mother has been shrouded as if it were dead spiritually.
• A person who has studied medicine for years is a medical doctor, but is sweeping the streets or is a waiter in the hotel.
• In Exodus 26 – The veil in the temple was exceedingly expensive. It was 2 feet thick.
• The great designated work and purpose that God had for veils was changed by the enemy.
• Satan uses veils and shrouds for evil work.
• The glory of a thing is the essence of the thing.
• You are what your glory is.
• It is the anointing and power that makes it work, the star power that radiates.
• It is God in the thing that matters, the majesty in it, so when anything covers your glory, your radiance, essence is delayed, deterred or is destroyed.
• Once the shroud is in place, its glory is all gone until something removes it (Lamentations 3:35-38) “To turn aside the justice due man before the face of the most high or subvert a man in his cause the Lord does not approve. Who is he who speaks and it comes to pass, when the Lord has not commanded it? Is it not from the mouth of the most high. That woe and well-being proceed?”
• In II Cor. 3:15-17 – The veil of Moses still remains in the hearts of Israel – when one is saved and turns to the Lord the veil is taken away. Where the Lord Jesus Christ is, there is liberty.

III.  WHAT ARE THE THINGS THAT PUT VEILS AND SHROUDS IN PLACE?

• There are door openers to satanic manipulation and attacks such as:-

1. Sin
2. Mental and emotional trauma such as rape, molestation, accidents, fear etc.
3. Living in an ungodly existence, staying away from the fellowship of the brethren.
4. Seeking for help from Egypt, tarot cards, palm reading, fortune telling, participating in occultic rituals.
5. Living in bitterness, anger, envy, jealousy, lewdness and lasciviousness.
6. Satanic and demonic attacks such as witchcraft conjuring and spells.
7. Curses, self-imposed and imposed curses by people in authority or wrong persons.
8. Dishonoring your biological and spiritual parents
9. Making fun and ridiculing of men and women of God.
10. Not paying tithes, offerings, seed, vows
11. Breaking godly covenants like marriage covenants, adultery and fornication.
12. Marine attacks and hexes

IV.  SOLUTIONS

• Where you have been in disobedience to God, parents or you have dishonored your parents, pastors or supervisors, go and make quick amends
• If you have been tapping into the anointing of men and women of God, give a gift and settle them. Their anointing can work against you due to your selfishness.
• Renounce bitterness, envy, hatred, jealously – love your enemies and pray for them.

V.   SHROUD BREAKING AND DESTROYING PRAYERS

1. I repent and recant any sin that has caused me to be covered by veils- in Jesus Name.
2. My marital glory being shrouded by household wickedness break loose in Jesus Name.
3. My glory as a mother being covered and delayed by the enemy rebel and come out in Jesus Name.
4. Every shroud of the grave threatening to bury my children be suddenly consumed by fire of God in the Name of Jesus.
5. Every veil covering my mind and soul be destroyed by the hammer of God in Jesus Name.
