LET YOUR HAND BE UPON ME.

SERIES: THE PRAYER OF JABEZ.

TEXT: 1st CHRONICLES 4:9-10.

The hand of God upon a person represents His power, favor, protection and enablement working in that person’s life to accomplish divine purpose. In Ezra 7:6-9, “This Ezra came to Jerusalem according to the good hand of his God upon him” (7:9).

One of the most powerful requests in Jabez’s prayer was “Let the hand be with me.”

Jabez understood that divine blessings and enlargement of his territory would be useless without the hand of God guiding, protecting and empowering him.

The hand of God represents His presence, power, favor and direction in the life of a believer.
