SUCCEEDING IN GOD’S WAY

TEXT: I SAMUEL 2:9

INTRODUCTION

Success is a progressive process of becoming whom God wants you to be. It cannot be achieved by our strength. I Samuel 2:9 “He will keep the feet of His Saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness, for by strength no man shall prevail.

Brethren no man can succeed by his strength or power. It is God’s will for every of His children to succeed and prosper. He pronounced blessings though David in (Psalm 1:1-3) through Jesus Christ, God pronounced blessings. (Matt.5:2-11). Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

Let us Learn:

I.  WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO SUCCEED GOD’S WAY ?

This is a progressive process of becoming what God wants you to be through obedience to laid down Spiritual Principles.

II.  GOD’S PRINCIPLES FOR SUCCESS.

1. Put God First.

• God promises that when we put Him First we accomplish everything we need to.
• “The Lord will give grace and glory, No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly” (Psalm 84:11)
• “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you “ (Matt.6:33)

2. Go for the Goals !

• Focus on the goals God leads to make.
• Give time and thought to achieving them.
• Proverbs 12:24- “Work hard, and you will be a leader”

3. Dream Big.

• Think of the Bible heroes you have admired all your life.; Abraham, Moses, David, Paul, Mary, Deborah etc.
• They were men of courage and faith and they accomplished great things- With God’s help.
• Think Big about yourself, work towards your thought and become your thought (Proverbs 23:7)

4. Remain Focused

• Concentrate on your goal. The Apostle Paul concentrated on the one thing “Forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead. (Philippians 3:13-14)
• Make sure your goal is the right one– and then give it your full effort !!

5. Motivate Yourself.

• Every day, expect to do great things.
• Think positive thoughts, fill your mind with positives. (I Chron.22:13)
• Do not be afraid or discouraged.

6. Get Good Friends And Associates

• Associate with those who share good values and faith with you. (Eccl.4:9)

III. PRAY THESE PRAYER POINTS

Father, as I journey out today make a way for me where there seem to be no way– In the Name of Jesus

1. O God, I declare that I shall succeed, I shall progress in Jesus Name
2. Father, I seal my studies, my Job, career, life, marriage, market with the Blood of Jesus Christ.
3. O God let your plan for my life today and forever come to manifestation in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. O God , grant me Your Divine favor to succeed and stand out amongst the crowd, In Jesus Name

CONCLUSION.

Success is when you achieve the goals God helped you to set for your life and destiny.
