THE KING IS COMING

REVALATION 19:11-21

For the last 6000 years, the human drama has been unfolding. Since man sinned in the Garden of Eden, History has been moving towards one great event. That Event is the day when Jesus Christ returns to this world in power and glory to reign on the throne of David his Father.

“Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end on thrown of David and over his Kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with Justice and with righteousness from this time fourth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this (Isaiah 9:7).

“He will be great and will be called the son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of His Father David.” (Luke 1:32).

When Jesus Christ was on this earth, He made many promises to his followers, but perhaps none is so great as His promise that He will indeed return to this earth one day. (Mathew 24:27-30).

The last recorded words of the Lord Jesus in the Bible are, “Surely I come quickly” (Revelation 22:10)

Jesus is coming again.” He will return in the rapture to claim His people in the air (John 14:1-3, 1st Cor 15:15-52, 1st Thessalonians 4:13-17)

The first part is when He returns in the clouds to receive His bride (the church) and the second part is the returns in glory to defeat His enemies and to reign upon the earth. It is this event we want to focus on today; I really want you to know today the King is coming. He will reign in peace and glory upon this very earth. You need to make sure that you are ready to meet Him when He comes the first time, so that you can come back with Him when He returns the second time.” THE KING IS COMING “Let us learn:-

  • Throughout History, there have been wars; many of these wars have been fought for foolish reasons.
  • All wars are started through sin, the fact is that men and women want to be God.
  • They want to be in charge of this world, when they do this, other men stand up and say “No, you will not reign over us!” And a war is the result.
