THE POWER OF THE DESTROYERS

SERIES: MY GOD IS MY DELIVERER

TEXT: NAHUM 2:3

Today let us be informed that we will not experience God’s power until we become spiritually violent. Jesus Christ said “ever since the days of John the Baptist the kingdom of god suffereth violence and the violent take it by force” violence is allowed in the kingdom of God and in the spiritual world. The reason violence is allowed is that the powers that are working against us are also very violent.

The Bible tells us in (Zachariah 3:1-5), that Joshua the priest was standing before god and the devil at the same time was standing at his right hand to resist him.

Resting spirits are destroyer spirits, they resist the children and servants of God.

Zachariah tells us that Joshua the Priest was very lucky because the Lord rebuked the devil on his behalf.

The problem of Joshua was that he was wearing a dirty garment and because of that dirty garment, the devil was able to resist him even though Joshua the Priest was standing before god. Filthy garments stands for sins. Sins always opens the way for Satan to accuse the brethren, we need to repent of our sins confessing them to God.

Confession means that, you agree with God that you have sinned, thank god for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from sin. Ask for the fountain of the blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse you, then repent by turning away from your sin.

When God removed our filthy clothes, he then provides us with new clean, rich garments which is the righteousness of Jesus Christ. When we are made clean in the blood of Jesus Christ we gain access to draw near to God.

Jesus Christ said to Simon Peter “Simon, Satan has desired to sift you like wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith fails not.”

This simple declaration by Jesus Christ meant that everything was going to be all right for Peter as far as his faith did not fail. Faithfulness must be bound for us to prevail against the powers of the destroyers or power of the emptier.

Now, in (Nahum 2:2) the Bible says “the Lord will restore the splendor (excellency) of Jacob like the splendor of Israel, though destroyers (empties) have laid them waste and have ruined their vines.”

Assyria has planned and crushed the northern kingdom (Israel) and its people deported in 722BC. Assyria had also attacked the southern kingdom (Judah) and had imposed a tribute. The two kingdoms had been emptied or destroyed. Dear friends, there are certain forces which drain things. These forces are stubborn, therefore we must be violent. This is the time for every true believer to start fighting, this is the time to abandon all manner of idols and throw them into the fire. An idol is anything you place or treasure or value before God or beside God.

The problem with any idol is that it opens the door for Satan to come into your life and affairs. When the devil comes into your life.

The devil inside is very difficult to deal with, when the devil is inside or when he gains a foothold in a life he would speak words of defeat, diseases and failure from inside.

He speaks and attacks the mind and then disarms the person.

When the devil is inside the believer cannot fight any external was, for lack of confidence. The believer must become violent and disarm the devil.

Let us learn:-

I.  HOW TO BECOME VIOLENT

  • We become violent through the word of God.
  • The devil fears the word of God, that is why we must understand the word and quote it in context.
  • We use the word of God to command the spirit of infirmity to leave and never to return to the body.
  • The devil does not understand nice words or good grammar.
  • The man of God, whose name was smith wiggles worth of south Africa was a spiritually violent man.
  • Smith wiggles worth commanded diseases to melt away, he shocked doctors in hospitals through his effective violent deliverance prayers.
  • Smith wiggles worth had no educational qualification, but he was a man of great faith.
  • The reason why many believers cannot exercise their faith is because they are too educated, too academic, too scientific and too logical. Brothers and sisters we must begin to change our mode of praying.
  • Let us learn to command rather than beg.
  • In self-deliverance, if you are still under the spirit and bondage of fornication, you have to command the demon of fornication to leave you alone.
  • If it is infirmity, command the demon of infirmity to depart from your life.
  • Lay your own hands upon yourselves and command the evil spirits to leave your body and life.
  • The destroyers or emptiers empty good things from people’s lives. Their intention is to empty.
  • Sometimes the emptiers wait until the cup is full then they turn it over.
  • Victims of emptiers find it difficult to prosper, unless God comes to their aid.
  • Unless you become violent and deal with the emptiers, you remain poor.
  • You make money through your own sweat, the emptier drains it away.
  • You try to save money to buy land, a car, a house, the emptier comes by and takes it away, that is what the prophet Nahum saw with Israel and Judah (Naum 2:2)
  • The forces of the destroyer are the ones behind all the horrible dreams that people have.
  • When in the dream you see yourself eating with your dead relatives, playing with snakes or playing with spiritual husbands or wives.
  • The forces of the emptiers are behind incurable diseases, setbacks in business, broken marriages, homosexually, lesbianism, drug abuse, alcoholism.
  • The emptiers are responsible for hearing strange voices disturbing them, ugly thoughts.
  • The emptiers course believers get into trouble reading the Bible, worshipping the Lord, sitting down to listen to the word of God and praying.
  • Some people confess that they feel things moving all over. Their body or experience black outs, these are the powers of the emptiers or destroyers.
  • Thoughts of suicide or running away from home are also caused by the powers of the emptiers.
  • Automatic failure mechanism or syndrome which makes a person never to succed is caused by the power of the emptiers.

II.  THE SPIRITUAL WORLD AND THE PHYSICAL WORLD.

  • The spiritual world is as real as the physical world.
  • Things happen in the spiritual world before they happen in the physical world.
  • In the spiritual world when you begin to pray the prayer may become a ball of fire, aa sword, a knife or any dangerous weapon to destroy things that have been programmed against you in the spirit world which actually controls the physical world.
  • Things like joy, peace, love, blessing are tangible things in the spiritual world.
  • Good and bad things can be transferred in the spiritual world.
  • Obviously, many people do not know about the spiritual world because they are blind spiritually.
  • Things like joy, peace, patience, love etc can be spiritually removed from the the cup of one’s life and transferred or stolen.
  • In the story of Naaman and Gehazi the leprosy of Naaman was transferred from Naaman to Gehazi in the spirit and actualized in the physical world.
  • If your peace is disturbed in the spirit world lack of peace is manifested in the physical.
  • Somebody’s problem can be transferred to another person in the spirit and the problem is seen in the physical.
  • Somebody’s wife or husband can be transferred to another person.
  • Your children can be transferred to another person to obey another man or woman,first in the spirit world and then in the physical world.
  • Your blessings can also be transferred to another spiritually and physically.
  • Please,please.understand that spiritual power is greater and stronger than physical power.
  • If you are strong spiritually you will be strong physically.
  • The emptier or destroyer must first be defeated in the spirit, then physically.
  • Jesus Christ said to his disciples in (Luke 10:5-6) “and into whatsoever house you enter, first say, peace be on this house. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it, if not it shall return to you again.”
  • Have you ever seen peace? Jesus says peace is a spiritual thing. In the spiritual world peace is tangible and living it can be seen and can be transferred from one person to another.
  • The disciples of Jesus Christ were carrying peace about.
  • No wonder the Bible says in (Romans 10:15) “how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and brings gland tidings of great things.”
  • A person’s brain can be transferred spiritually and that person becomes a fool.
  • A person’s hand can be transferred and the person will not be able to prosper.
  • A person’s feet can be transferred and the person will always be having bad luck.
  • Such a person, when he enters anywhere progress stops, if he enters a company the company stop making any profit.
  • The emtiers can even empty the womb.
  • Some material things can carry spiritual power.
  • The saliva of Jesus Christ healed a blind man, therefore bad and evil saliva can carry evil powers.
  • Handkerchiefs in the bible were known to carry power, people prayer on them, placed them on the sick and they were healed.
  • Likewise some materials can carry negative powers (Joshua 9:6, Mark 8:23, Acts 19:12)
  • Emptiers are now using some materials to distribute evil things around (Jude 17-22)
  • A single material items of an emptier in a home can completely suck away all the peace in that home.
  • Rings, chains, necklaces, earrings bearing images of snakes, moon, fish or eyes can became the emptier in your life or home. Brethren, we must pray aggressively against these powers so as to put a final stop to their activities.

III.  PRAY THE FOLLOWING PRAYERS.

  1. Let the blood of Jesus Christ wash me clean, in Jesus Name.
  2. Let every garment of iniquity be removed from my life in the Name of Jesus
  3. I bind the spirit of failure, in Jesus Name.
  4. Every power set to take away my joy and peace, I bind you, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
  5. You spirit of the emptier and destruction I disable you upon my life and family in the Name of Jesus, Amen.
