VAGABOND ANOINTING

SERIES: THE ANOINTING

TEXT: JOB 6:1-7, I PETER 5:8, PSALM 109

Last Sunday we discussed the breakthrough anointing. The anointing brings opposition, the anointing brings direction and the anointing brings victory. Today let us look at a negative anointing so common in Africa, the vagabond anointing. The vagabond anointing is responsible for lack of direction and aimlessness in so many lives. Satan himself is a vagabond and he likes to distribute vagabond anointing. Vagabond anointing can be destroyed through the anointing that destroys the yoke (Isa. 10:27).

Let us learn:-

I.  BACKGROUND OF VAGABOND ANOINTING

  1. Genesis 4:12 – we see the first case of a vagabond person
  • It says, “when thou fillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength.”
  • A fugitive and vagabond shall thou be in the earth.
  • This what Cain became and his children after him.
  1. Deuteronomy 21:18-21 stubbornness and rebellion is a spirit of vagabond
  • It is not only sons and daughters that can become vagabond, but also wives and husbands.
  • The case of a woman in Machakos County, she had a vagabond anointing. She was carried away by a flooding river.”
  1. Psalm 109:10
  • This was a serious vagabond problem. Vagabond anointing is a terrible curse.
  • Let his children be continually vagabonds and beg, let them seek there bread also out of their desolate places.
  • Far from home and in desolate places !!
  1. Acts 19:13-16 – it talks about “vagabond Jews”, they were exorcists, they included the seven sons of Sceva a bishop of the Jews (chief priest)
  • We see vagabond Jews being attacked, that is the reward of the vagabond.
  1. Satan is the greatest vagabond (Job 1:6-7), a vagabond anointing is from the master vagabond or satan
  2. I Peter 5:8 – walking about, seeking and not finding, moving house to house, no fixed abode.
  3. Luke 15:11-15 – the vagabond anointing is a prodigal spirit.
  4. A vagabond is always sorrowful person, sin will bring sorrow always and it never fails to find men out.
  • At the end of the day, the sin of a man will find him out.
  1. The vagabond spirit causes demotion, the son of a rich man feeding pigs, for a jew, feeding pigs is the greatest humiliation, the job made him ceremonially unclean and bought him shame.
  2. A sinner is always in a far country.
  3. Vagabond people are always very selfish in nature.

II.  WHAT IS ANOINTING?

  • Anointing is a supernatural thing. It is a supernatural equipment that enables you to achieve supernatural results.
  • Anointing is the ability to do things without sweating
  • God does not have counterfeit materials neither does He give them to people. All negative anointing is of Satan.
  • In these last days many evil things are happening, Christs (anointing ones) will come, many false prophets shall arise.
  • Many shall be lovers of themselves, lovers of money and haters of good things.
  • There is no command in the Bible for us to love ourselves – because we already love ourselves too much.
  • Negative anointing like divorce, drugs etc will increase.
  • In these last days the enemy is making a lot of progress because of sin.
  • If you cannot forsake your sin, sin will take control over your life, until it dominates fully.
  • When a person constantly repeats a particulars sin, Satan will take up his abode in that area of a person’s life.
  • The enemy has taken up entire families with the spirit of worry, fear, sexual sin, laziness, abusive tongue, the Satan will use these sins as a base.

III.  MANIFESTATIONS OF A VAGABOND ANOINTING

  • A vagabond spirit makes a person live an irregular life, or a wandering life.
  • The person goes from place to another with no fixed purpose, an aimless life.
  • God expects us to be able to rest in Him, but those with vagabond anointing cannot be able to rest in Him.
  • People with vagabond Spirit move from city to city, from job to job, house to house, marriage to marriage, never able to settle down.
  • People with a vagabond anointing are always tormented by the Spirit of poverty, the spirit of poverty finds it easy to move in.
  • The spirit of poverty is very destructive, active and passive destroyers are found in poverty. This will give way to many other things like restlessness, confusion financial bondage, depression, loneliness, hopelessness, suicidal thoughts, sorrow and grief.
  • Vagabond Spirit makes people waste their investments. A person may have university degree yet nothing prospers. Wrong location in life can cause disaster.
  • Vagabond spirit is responsible for the lack of direction and aimlessness in many lives.
  • “Double left hand” syndrome makes handling things hard.
  • Vagabond anointing is responsible for slippery blessings, unstable breakthrough and confusion.
  • Inability to concentrate during prayer and Bible study is a sign that vagabond anointing is in place.
  • Impatience attracts vagabond spirits, because such impatience person cannot wait on God. They go from place to place. They have no staying power.
  • Many people cannot rest, if they are not cooking, they are washing, to sit down to listen to a sermon is a problem.
  • Some men move from woman to woman, they move through the internet or journals, they would write to editors saying “dear editor” I am looking for a lady six feet etc.
  • Walking in your sleep, walking up and down the stairs in dreams is a sign of vagabond anointing.
  • When you collect your salary and all manner of people come for your money, rushing to all manner of business you hear about. The vagabond anointing has totally enveloped a lot of Kenyans, deliverance is urgently needed.

COCLUSION – PRAYER POINTS FOR DELIVERANCE

  1. I dismantle every stronghold of vagabond anointing in my life, in JESUS NAME.
  2. I break every vagabond anointing upon my life in JESUS NAME.
  3. Dear God, rearrange my life to suit your purpose, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
  4. O Lord, let your kingdom be established in every department of my life, in JESUS NAME.
  5. I command frustration on every evil agent assigned against my breakthrough, in JESUS NAME.
  6. None of my breakthrough shall disappear this year in JESUS NAME.
  7. I refuse to be wasted or my children becoming vagabonds in the Name of JESUS.
